What is the Meeting Timer?

The Meeting Timer is designed to help Jehovah’s Witnesses during congregation meetings. Its main feature is the Watchtower Timer, created for the brother conducting the Watchtower Study. For each study article, the length of every paragraph is measured, and the number of pictures, boxes, and Scripture readings is counted. All of these factors are combined to estimate how much time each paragraph should ideally receive.

How does it help?

When you start the timer at the beginning of the study (after the song), it can help you manage your time throughout the discussion. The Meeting Timer isn’t perfect, of course—there will always be good reasons to spend a little extra time on certain paragraphs. Still, it can help you maintain a good pace and avoid going beyond the measured time.

Talk Timer

Another feature on this site is the Talk Timer. It can be useful if you are the chairman at a midweek meeting, or if you are giving a talk and want to keep track of your time.
